BLACKBERRY PATCH CELEBRATES TWENTY YEARS OF LEADERSHIP IN THE SPECIALTY FOOD INDUSTRY

Company Launches Blackberry Fields and Three Sugar Free Syrups

Thomasville, Georgia

For Immediate Release

Harry T. Jones and Randy Harvey have developed a niche with their jams, jellies and syrups. The owners of Blackberry Patch have created 20 fruit, nut, Maple-blend and sugar free syrups using natural ingredients and old Southern recipes. These gourmet treats are made in small batches using whole ripe berries and nuts, and are great for breakfast and dessert toppings, marinades, salad dressings, smoothies and shakes.

Reflecting on its growth, Jones notes: “Our success at Blackberry Patch is totally the result of our dedicated team members and our loyal customers from more than 40 states plus Canada and the United Kingdom. We’ve seen tremendous growth in our business as people increasingly want to create gourmet food at home. Our products offer that dash without consuming a lot of time.”

As a response to the demand of what Jones and Harvey call “the everyday gourmet,” Blackberry Patch has introduced Blackberry Fields. Serving the middle and upper middle class shopper, Blackberry Fields is available in supermarkets and higher volume outlets such as Whole Foods. Additionally, the company is presenting three new sugar free syrups – Blackberry, Raspberry and Roasted Pecan.

Founded in 1988 on a farm near Thomasville, Georgia, Blackberry Patch was built on harvesting the freshest local fruits and preserving them in jams, jellies and fruit syrups. What makes these syrups unique? The best ingredients, whether that’s the purest spices and nuts or the ripest berries and fruits, open kettle cooking and tender loving care make Blackberry Patch syrups so delicious. Also, these syrups have a drizzled waxed top that serves as a natural gift wrap.

Blackberry Patch products are available in department stores, gift shops, specialty food stores and travel destinations. The products are sold through catalogs, custom label and the company’s web site at www.blackberrypatch.com.
