Goat Cheese Tart with Peach Syrup and Thyme

  • Puff pastry sheets cut into fourths
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup Blackberry Patch Premium Peach syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp thyme

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut puff pastry dough into four squares. Spread a heaping tablespoon of goat cheese onto the center of each square. Fold the corners of each pastry toward the center to form an X. In a small bowl create an egg wash by mixing an egg with a small amount of water. Brush on top of the pastry dough. Bake for 20 minutes or until tarts are golden brown. Give each a generous drizzle of Blackberry Patch Premium Peach syrup, garnish with thyme and enjoy!
